So last post, I mentioned how I became Pokémon GO free. Well, withdrawal's a ninny, so forgoing completely was obviously not the correct answer. So, I'm just gonna play it casually from now on. Since levelling up from 17-18-ish up is a little tedious and the game lost most of the enjoyment to me. But the majority of the decision came from when someone mentioned that the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal is overrun by garbage on the Pokémon GO Toronto subreddit, and how I said that we should organize a Cache-in-Trash-out event.
Well, it kinda happened. Kinda.
Since I instigated it, I decided I should follow through with the plan of picking up the trash left by PoGO players at the JL Ferry Terminal. Last Saturday, apparently the team Instinct Facebook group organized a minor trash pickup group. I didn't know about this, 'cause 1. I'm in team Mystic, and 2. I don't really use Facebook.
But I so happened to go there at the right time to do some picking-upper of trash. I met some great people, and had a riot of a time.
I plan to do more trash pickup in the future all around Toronto. Probably buy one of those extendo-reach grabby grabber tool, so I won't have to bend over for the umpteenth time.
Oh, before I forget, I've started a Facebook page for dcobco. Just in case something happens. Better to claim the name than missing the opportunity. And if it oh-so happens that dcobco amounts to something, I should grab as many social media pages/handle as I could. Click for Facebook:
