Mascots in Japan are used not only to further brand identity, but are also used for public safety. Even popular characters are licensed and used for the public good. Taking this approach, I decided to incorporate Cooper, the mascot to create a series of warning labels around the fab lab.
I made graphics for poster printers to deter students and employees from pulling out the sheets before the prints were fully extruded, stickers to prevent people from unplugging the cable before the projector fully cooled down, and staplers for very specific uses.
I've also help make seasonal greeting card featuring Cooper, stickers, and a 3D print benchmark model.
